SUPPORT
Shadeweave Support
Shadeweave automatically rethemes normal HTTP and HTTPS webpages. If a website does not look right, first try the steps below.
Quick fixes
- Open the Shadeweave popup and press the reanalyze button.
- Try Auto, Always Dark, or Original for the current site.
- Refresh the page after updating Shadeweave.
- Disable other dark-mode extensions while testing to avoid conflicting styles.
Pages Shadeweave cannot edit
Chrome blocks extensions from modifying protected browser surfaces such as many chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. Closed Shadow DOM, cross-origin embedded interfaces, canvas/WebGL apps, and some complex editors may also limit what can be styled.
Report a compatibility issue
Use the support contact shown on Shadeweave's Chrome Web Store listing. Include the website address, what looked wrong, your Chrome version, and a screenshot when possible.
Shadeweave does not require an account and does not upload webpage content for dark-mode processing.
